Set a Date with our Workforce Development Training Gurus!
- The Workforce Technology Conference will take place June 8th-10th with an optional pre-conference training session on June 7th. The conference offers a comprehensive showcase of technology and solutions for enhancing workforce programs throughout the country. It provides a great opportunity for workforce professionals, administrators, case managers, and labor market information specialists to learn how the latest technology can improve system performance and increase services. It's also the best place for representatives from state and local agencies to share ideas on strategies and best practices. Registration is now open and hotel accommodations are available. Make sure to take advantage of Early Bird Registration! Click here for more information.
- Training Videos Galore! In order to give users (both registered and guests) better insight into the functionality of Virtual OneStop, Virtual LMI and ALMA (America's Labor Market Analysis), we have added training videos to walk users through the job search process. Keep an eye out for videos on: Creating an Individual Account, Creating an Employer Account, Virtual Recruiter for Individuals, Virtual Recruiter for Employers, How to Conduct an Occupation Search, Posting a Job, Individual/Employer Site Navigation, Finding a Job, Candidate Resume Search, How to Conduct an Industry Search, Resume Builder, Background Wizard, and more. The new videos will be found under the Virtual OneStop Assistance Center. Users can access the Learning Center where, depending on how they sign in, they will have access to training videos pertinent to employers or job seekers. The training videos will be included in the Virtual OneStop version 10.05 release.
- Lunchtime Learning Sessions: Typically held between 2:30-3:30 PM EST (11:30 AM-12:30 PM PST) and the subject matter includes various workforce development topics. This is a great opportunity for staff to learn additional features and polish their skills. Each session is open to all users, but is limited to the first 90 people who sign up. Past Lunchtime Learning sessions have focused on ALISON Online Learning and Employer Tools in Virtual OneStop. We would love to get your input on what topics you are interested in!
